Nicki Minaj has unveiled the first lyric video for her new single, "Pills N Potions". The clip features some snapshots of colorful pills and alcoholic drinks as the lyrics, written in white letters, flash on the screen.
"Pills and potions/ We're overdosin'/ I'm angry but I still love you," she sings the catchy hook before spitting her bars, "Ayo, they could never make me hate you/ Even though what you was doin' wasn't tasteful/ Even though you out here lookin' so ungrateful/ I'mma keep it movin' be classy and graceful."
"Pills N Potions" was released last week and has topped charts in many countries. Another lyric video and an official visuals for the hit are coming out soon.
Minaj is currently working on her new album, "The Pink Print". There's still no official release date confirmed, but the raptress has said that the LP is due out later this year. In a recent interview with Power 105.1 FM, she explained that her new project was inspired by Jay-Z's "The Blueprint" album.
"I wanted to be like Jay Z. I felt like with what I'm doing, I want female rappers to be able to pattern themselves with what I've done one day," she said.
