After a couple decades of public and private feuding, Elton John has finally matured to the point where he realized that it was long past time to end his bitter rivalry with Madonna. Over the years, and most recently this past August, Elton has viciously and savagely attacked Madonna in public in interviews and in private among famous friends. Madonna never seemed to be bothered by Elton‘s attacks but, nonetheless, I’m sure it wasn’t fun for her to be treated so poorly by another person (tho, in all honesty, I bet she did get some sort of validation from the ridiculously over the top jealousy that Elton had for her). Elton John, in a new interview with Extra!, revealed that he finally manned up and apologized to Madonna for his behavior and claims that the long-running feud is now over. Click below to watch Elton announce this news himself on Extra! this week.
Sir Elton John and David Furnish sat down for an exclusive interview with “Extra’s” Terri Seymour, in which they revealed that there is no longer a feud with Madonna. John explained, “We were in a restaurant in France in the summertime. She came in, and I sent over a note. She was very gracious. I apologized profusely because what I said should never have appeared in public. She accepted our apology, and then we bought her dinner. That’s over and done with.” John said Madonna was glad to move on. “She was fantastic. She was just like, ‘Okay, let’s get a move on.’” Furnish added, “We don’t believe in putting negativity out in the world, both of us were embarrassed when all that stuff came out.”
For a guy who says “we don’t believe in putting negativity out in the world”, Furnish sure seemed happy to hurl very vicious attacks freely and openly. But, that is water under the bridge … apparently. I have to be honest, I haven’t been an Elton John fan for many years now particularly because of his immature bullying behavior. I’m very happy to learn that the man has finally grown up and learned his lesson. I hope the apology is sincere and I hope the public attacks will end for good. For now, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Peace at last! I never thought I’d see the day.

Madonna Dismisses Feud With Song Dedication To Elton John
Guess Madge is burying the hatchet!
During Madonna's concert in France on Tuesday, the pop princess dedicated a song to her rival Elton John! Before performing her hit "Masterpiece," the Queen of Pop told the crowd that the "Candle In The Wind" crooner was a "big fan" of hers. Then she added, "I forgive him."
Her nice gesture might have been on the sinister side, though! That particular tune won the 54-year-old a Golden Globe earlier this year, which sparked backlash when Elton's partner David Furnish claimed she didn't deserve to win.
The British chart topper fanned the flames of the feud earlier this month when he called Madonna a "fairground stripper" and claimed "her career is over."
Dedicating a song to someone is such a heartfelt gesture, but only if you truly mean it!
Do you think Madonna is really over the feud?

Elton John: 'Madonna's career is over. Her tour is a disaster'
Elton John, who recently topped the UK album charts with his collection of tracks remixed by Australian dance duo Pnau took aim at Madonna after an apparent string of insults against his friend, Lady Gaga.
Madonna recently hit out at Lady Gaga, claiming she 'helped' the star write her hit 'Born This Way', which has long been compared to Madonna's own 'Express Yourself' hit.
“Why is she such a nightmare?" Says Elton, reports The Sun newspaper. "Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger c***.”
“If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly.
“But no, she had to go and prove... she looks like a f****** fairground stripper. She's been horrible to Gaga.”
This isn't the first time Elton John has insulted Madonna, previously taking offence at her 2012 Golden Globes win. When her song 'Masterpiece' pipped John's 'Hello Hello' to an award, he reportedly wrote on Facebook: "Madonna. Best song???? F--k off!!!" Before later adding: "Thank you for all your comments and support. Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is."

Madonna Scores Record-Extending 38th Hot 100 Top 10
Almost 30 years after her arrival on Billboard's charts, Madonna continues to feel L-U-V from her fans. On this week's Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, her latest single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'," featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., bounds 13-10 in its second chart week.
The first single from Madonna's 12th studio album, "MDNA," due March 26 (which sports an "L-U-V, Madonna!" cheerleader chant), becomes her 38th Hot 100 top 10, pushing her further ahead of runners-up the Beatles (34).
Madonna first reached the chart's top tier the week of June 16, 1984, when "Borderline" rose to its No. 10 peak. She had last ranked in the region with "4 Minutes," featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, the week of June 28, 2008.
Here is a look at the artists with the most top 10 songs in the Hot 100's 53-year history:
38 -- Madonna
34 -- the Beatles
28 -- Michael Jackson
28 -- Stevie Wonder
27 -- Mariah Carey
27 -- Janet Jackson
27 -- Elton John
25 -- Elvis Presley (whose career predates the chart's Aug. 4, 1958, inception)
23 -- Whitney Houston
23 -- the Rolling Stones
As previously reported, "Luvin'" jumps 7-6 on the Digital Songs survey with 165,000 downloads sold (up 44%) in the list's tracking week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The period encompassed the first full week following Madonna's performance of the song at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis (Feb. 5).
The track, slides, however, 28-59 on the Radio Songs chart (20 million audience impressions, down 54%, according to Nielsen BDS). "Luvin' " had benefitted last week from special promotion on Clear Channel Media and Entertainment's more than 50 monitored pop stations, which played it at the top of every hour from Friday, Feb. 3, at 9 a.m. ET until the big game's kickoff.
Check Billboard.com tomorrow (Feb. 16), when all rankings, including the Hot 100 in its entirety and the Digital Songs and Radio Songs charts, will be refreshed, as they are each Thursday.

Translation: Bitch Is Scared Of Madge's Soul-Eating Powers
![]()
Elton John's husband David Furnish went on a bitter old queen rant the night Madge won the Golden Globe for Best Song over the song from his movie Gnomeo & Juliet. Shots were fired and Madge made a mental note to claim the soul of David's first born Zachary by revenge fucking him in 18 years. We should all assume that Madge also threatened to strangle David with her velocicrotch in his sleep, because he's put down his weapon, slid it over to her side and is now saying on Facebook (via UsWeekly) that his words were blown out of proportion.
"Wow! What a tempest in a teapot. My comments regarding The Golden Globes have been blown way out of proportion. My passion for our film Gnomeo & Juliet and belief in Elton's song really got my emotional juices going. But I must say for the record that I do believe Madonna is a great artist, and that Elton and I wish her all the best for next week's premiere of the film W.E."Hmmm. I wonder which part was blown out of proportion? The part where he wrote "Madonna for Best Song? Fuck off!" or the part where he wrote that her "acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism." Or maybe the part where he used her old CD booklets to line the inside of Elton's Depends? I hate it when this shit happens. David let his bitter bitch flag fly brightly and now he's backpedaling up Madge's ass, because he's afraid she's going to make his hairline jump back a few inches when she puts him in a neck-hold with her engorged peen arms. David is an embarrassment in his wussyissism (and I'm an embarrassment for using the word wussyissism).
And when you write the line "my passion for our film Gnomeo & Juliet," everything you write afterward should be struck from the record, because it's obvious you're okay with not making sense and it's not right for you to drag us down too.
Speaking of W.E., here's a piece of The Daily Telegraph's smile-inducing, heartwarming and day-making review:
Madonna’s skill with the camera seems to extend to her being able to turn it on, but not a great deal further: to liven up an argument between Wallis and Edward, she has her romantic leads inexplicably run around a tree trunk. Later, we see Wallis dancing the Charleston with an African tribeswoman to the strains of 'Pretty Vacant’ by The Sex Pistols in front of a Charlie Chaplin film, which must be a strong contender for the most garbled, half-baked image in cinema history.W.E. is — still — a stultifyingly vapid film, festooned with moments of pure aesthetic idiocy. With characteristic humbleness, Madonna performs a song called 'Masterpiece’ over the end credits, although one can’t help but feel that her 2003 number one single 'Sorry’ might have been more appropriate.
Now that's how it's done, David! W.E.'s chances at getting nominated for an Oscar are as bleak as my asshole getting nominated for an Oscar, but the academy should still flash this review when they acknowledge Madge's movie career in the In Memoriam segment.
(Thanks Gillian)

Narcissistic Old Queen vs. Narcissistic Old Queen
This is what old British cunt queen Elton John said on the GGs red carpet last night about going up against his arch rival Madge in the Best Song category: "Madonna hasn't got a fucking chance."
This is what happened a couple of hours later when the winner of Best Song was announced.
The OTHER old British cunt queen won and the look on Elton John's face was a thing of bitter beauty. It's like Elton inhaled the British queef (yes, she queefs with a British accent) Madge let out to make room for her bloated ego as she went on stage to gloat about beating him. Madge dropped a vagina fart on Elton's words and forced him to eat it. Elton wanted to strangle the smug fake Britishness out of Madge's tongue the same way her dress was strangling her chichis.
And Elton's mad face slowly got even more mad as Madge beat the Guinness World Record for saying the word ME approximately 45 million times in the span of 45 seconds. It was the highlight of the night for me, because I love it when old cunts fight. But it didn't stop there. Later last night, as Elton rage ate through a turkey drumstick that his chef sculpted to look like Madge (completed with charred turkey gristle arms), his husband David Furnish spewed more bitter bitchiness on Facebook:
"Madonna. Best song???? Fuck off!!! Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. And her critisism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is."
This feud is almost better than watching your abuelita on your mother's side and your grandma on your father's side fight over the last piece of cake in a cup at your birthday party. You know, as much as I'd love to watch Madge and Elton slap each other in the face with pristine white gloves, I'm going to need Queen Elizabeth to hit both of them with her pocketbook to show these not knowing hos who the real QUEEN is. If Queen Elizabeth isn't available, then Quween on the Scene can step in for her.

Madonna’s Golden Globe miffs Elton John
There was plenty of drama at the post-awards parties for the Golden Globes. While Madonna publicly laughed it off, it’s clear Elton John and his spouse David Furnish were furious about the Material Mom beating out Sir Elton for best film song on Sunday.
Furnish posted an angry note on Facebook (“Madonna. Best Song? F--- off!”) and the two men continued to harp at post-Globes parties about both the award and Madonna’s acceptance speech, which they called self-indulgent.
John was especially angry Madonna admitted that the song was very much an afterthought, added only after the movie was basically finished.
The two superstars have long had a testy relationship. The feud started years ago, when John snipped about Madonna being merely a “lip-syncher.”
Backstage Sunday, Madonna told the press she hopes John “speaks to me for the next couple of years. He’s been known to get mad at me, so I don’t know. He’s brilliant, and I adore him, so he’ll win another award. I don’t feel bad.”
However, I’m hearing her private comments — after she read Furnish’s remarks on Facebook — were far less gracious.
In addition, she is irked by John and Furnish constantly dissing her “fake British accent” and also is unhappy about their unflattering digs at her “W.E.” film about the Wallis Simpson-Edward VIII romance.
One has to remember John and Furnish are very close to the British royal family, who, of course, long have been traumatized by the big abdication crisis in 1936 that threatened the future of the monarchy.

Hot Tours: U2, Elton John & Janet Jackson
U2 tops the Hot Tours rankings with over $60 million in ticket sales from three venues on the South American leg of the band's ongoing worldwide tour. The 360° Tour that began in June 2009 made its only trek to the continent during March and April, playing markets in three countries. Noteworthy among those performances was the final stop of that leg as the band posted the third-highest gross ever reported to Billboard: a total of $32.7 million from 269,491 tickets sold in São Paulo, Brazil at Estádio do Morumbi on April 9-10 and 13. Only Bruce Springsteen's $38.6 million from 10 shows at Giants Stadium in 2003 and the Spice Girls $33.8 million from 17 shows at London's O2 Arena in 2007-08 have historically grossed more.
The band's first South America performance was in Chile at Santiago's Estadio Nacional on March 25. With a crowd of 77,765, U2 broke their own attendance record at the stadium, filling 420 more seats than they did in Feb. 2006 during the Vertigo Tour. Next on the itinerary was Argentina with shows on March 30, April 1 and 2 in Buenos Aires at Estadio Único Ciudad de La Plata. The 53,000-seat soccer stadium was filled to capacity for all three nights with an attendance total of 172,029 and grosses topping $20.5 million US$ (83.2 million pesos).
Elton John ranks No. 2 this week with sold out performances reported in two U.S. markets, part of a string of North American dates booked through mid-May. New York's Madison Square Garden hosted the veteran entertainer on March 16 and 20 with a total of 36,338 tickets sold for both nights. A single performance on April 8 at the Spokane (Wash.) Arena drew a sellout crowd of 11,604 with box office grosses topping the $1 million mark. Sir Elton wraps his U.S./Canada trek on May 14 in Calgary and will spend most of the summer touring in Europe.
Co-headliners Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks appear on the Hot Tours list for the third week in a row, posting their best ranking yet. The pair land at No. 3 with $2.9 million in ticket sales reported from two major U.S. markets. The pair performed on April 5 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, drawing a sellout crowd of 13,127, and on April 9 at Chicago's United Center with 14,039 in attendance. Seven shows from the tour have been reported so far this spring with grosses topping $10 million.

Lady Gaga releases full lyrics to forthcoming single 'Born This Way':
Lady Gaga memorably sang a couple bars from her forthcoming, and much-anticipated single “Born This Way” at last fall’s MTV Video Music Awards and released album art, but now she’s giving up everything but the actual song itself, as today pop’s reigning queen released the song’s full lyrics via a Tweet just about an hour ago. Based on what she released—and as expected—the song is very empowerment focused, with the first verse going, “My mama told me when I was young / We were all born superstars.” Hello, yes we were! A few bars later, the chorus really drives home her point: “I’m beautiful in my way / ‘Cause God makes no mistakes / I’m on the right track baby / I was born this way.” Basically, she’s saying: Make no apologies, be who you are, don’t be ashamed of whatever/whoever that is! Of course, I love it. Elton John told EW earlier this year: “‘Born This Way’…will completely get rid of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive.’ This is the new ‘I Will Survive.’ That was the gay anthem. This is the new gay anthem. Actually, it’s not a gay anthem—it can apply to anybody.” Based on what’s here, I’d say that’s certainly true—gays and straights alike will most certainly love this. Now we just need to hear the actual song! But we won’t hear it until Feb. 13, the same day as the Grammys, which will feature a performance by Gaga.
In the Tweet, Lady Gaga also revealed the song’s credits. ‘Born This Way’ was written by Lady Gaga; produced by Lady Gaga, Fernando Garibay, and DJ White Shadow; and mixed and engineered by David Russel. Take a gander at Gaga’s full lyrics here:
