Though West famously interrupted Swift's 2009 MTV VMAs speech to declare that Beyonce
had "one of the best videos of all time," the two chart-toppers have
since reconciled, hamming it up at the 2015 Grammys earlier this month.

Katy Perry's Dancing Shark Is Hot -- and Part of the Taylor Swift Feud!
But, it was those dancing sharks that really stole the spotlight. So, let's meet the man behind one of the suits, Scott Myrick. As it turns out, Perry's backup dancer is pretty hot ... just check out those chiseled abs!
Myrick recently revealed that he was, in fact, the man inside the shark suit when an eager Redditor, PhenominableSnowman, put out an Ask Me Anything request to meet the dancers.
He also admitted that being a shark wasn't even the craziest thing he's ever done with the pop star.
"I danced as a gingerbread man in her first tour the California Dreams tour. And also her big purple cat, Kitty Purry," he revealed.
While he struts his stuff for Perry now, Myrick used to dance with Taylor Swift. In fact, he appears to be one of the reasons Perry and Swift are currently in the middle of a highly publicized feud!
Myrick, Lockhart Brownlie and another backup dancer reportedly left Swift’s tour for Perry’s, and now there’s some "Bad Blood," a song on Swift's album about her feud with an unnamed pop star.
Swift referenced the incident (without naming Katy) in Rolling Stone,
saying, “She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just
straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with
business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She
tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”

Taylor Swift Tops Billboard Artist 100 | Billboard
Music video for Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" single released August 18, 2014.
Thanks to a monster first week for 'Shake It Off,' Swift rattles and rolls to No. 1.
Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' Debuts At No. 1 On Hot 100
The Artist 100 provides the first weekly ranking dedicated to
measuring artist activity across Billboard's most influential charts,
including the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, Billboard 200 albums chart and the Social 50.
The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio
airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly
multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
Swift soars to No. 1 on the Artist 100 with a gigantic 807 percent
surge in overall points, and with digital song sales the biggest driver
(67 percent) of her total weekly activity. Leading the way: 544,000
downloads sold for "Shake" in its first week, according to Nielsen
SoundScan, marking the biggest weekly total for a song this year. In
addition to the Hot 100, the track also launches at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart.
Streaming (17 percent) accounts for the second-biggest slice of Swift's Artist 100 points, as "Shake" blasts onto Streaming Songs
at No. 2 with 18.4 million first-week U.S. streams, according to
Nielsen BDS. At 8 percent, radio airplay follows, with "Shake"
catapulting 45-9 on Radio Songs with a 139 percent increase to 71 million all-format audience impressions.
Swift is just the second female artist to rule the Artist 100 (since the list launched seven weeks ago), following Ariana Grande,
who, after rising 4-1 last week, dips to No. 7. Expect Grande to
challenge for the Artist 100's top spot next week when her second album,
My Everything, is set to storm in atop the Billboard 200.
Below Swift, two hip-hop stars make lofty leaps up the Artist 100.
Wiz Khalifa Earns First No. 1 Album On Billboard 200
Wiz Khalifa blasts 22-2 on the Artist 100, up by 235 percent. As he celebrates his first Billboard 200 No. 1 with Blacc Hollywood
(90,000 sold), album sales make up 78 percent of his Artist 100
palette. Streaming marks his second-biggest contribution (10 percent),
followed by digital song sales (5 percent).
Nicki Minaj
roars 14-3 on the Artist 100, bounding by 133 percent and returning to
her best rank. As "Anaconda" rockets 42-1 on Streaming Songs with a
1,287 percent surge to 32.1 million streams, following the Aug. 19
premiere of its video, streaming accounts for the highest percentage
(46) of Minaj's Artist 100 points. Song download sales follow (35
percent), as "Anaconda" pounces 24-6 (120,000, up 132 percent) on
Digital Songs.
Sam Smith slips 2-4 on the Artist 100, Iggy Azalea drops 3-5 and Meghan Trainor,
powered by her debut hit "All About That Bass" (at No. 3 on the Hot
100), dips 5-6 but with a 19 percent gain in Artist 100 points.
Below Grande at No. 7 on the Artist 100, Maroon 5 return to the top 10 (11-8), Katy Perry retreats 7-9 and 5 Seconds of Summer descend 8-10.
In other notable Artist 100 moves, Chase Rice charges 75-13 as his Ignite the Night launches at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on Top Country Albums, with 44,000 sold.
Ace Frehley scores the week's highest debut on the Artist 100 at No. 57. The former KISS guitarist notches his highest-charting album on the Billboard 200, and first top 10, as Space Invader debuts at No. 9 (19,000). The set starts atop Hard Rock Albums.
And, Smokey Robinson
enters the Artist 100 at No. 79. The icon bows powered by a No. 12
start on the Billboard 200, and a No. 1 arrival on R&B Albums, with Smokey & Friends, his new duets set with stars including Mary J. Blige, Jessie J, Elton John, John Legend and Steven Tyler.

Taylor Swift Turns Radio On With 'Shake It Off'
Music video for Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" single released August 18, 2014.
Her new pure-pop single is set for lofty launches on the Pop and Adult Pop Songs airplay charts.
As expected, Taylor Swift soared onto radio airwaves with her highly anticipated new single "Shake It Off."Swift released the high-energy, anti-haters pop anthem Tuesday during her Yahoo! live stream shortly after 5 p.m. ET. The song quickly tallied 1,139 first-day plays on 229 stations that report to the Billboard Hot 100's
radio airplay panel, according to Nielsen BDS. The plays translated to
nearly 9 million in first-day all-format radio audience.
"Shake" introduces 1989, Swift's fifth studio album and first in nearly two years. The set arrives Oct. 27 on Big Machine Records.
The live stream aired on more than 140 Clear Channel Media and
Entertainment-owned radio stations, with participating pop stations in
the chain spinning "Shake" hourly the rest of the day. The song's hourly
exposure (which has become a Clear Channel signature for high-profile
releases) has continued Tuesday (Aug. 19), including on major-market
tastemakers WHTZ (Z100) New York and KIIS Los Angeles. The pop stations
played the song 10 and seven times Monday, respectively.
On BDS' real-time building Pop Songs chart (which runs
Monday-Sunday), "Shake" already ranks at No. 8. On the building Adult
Pop Songs tally, it snares the No. 9 spot.
Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' Set to Take Off on Hot 100
The song, which shot to the top of the Billboard + Twitter 140
chart Monday, could challenge for the top rank on the
airplay/sales/streaming-based Billboard Hot 100 to be revealed on Aug.
27, following its first full week of sales and streaming. The song was
released to retail digitally and its official video premiered Monday.
RADIO'S SWIFT ACCEPTANCE
Given her superstar status and catalog of hits, pop radio programmers
have eagerly welcomed Swift's effervescent and hooky new hit.
"I think it's excellent," says Mike Mullaney, assistant program
director/music director at CBS Radio's adult pop WBMX (Mix 104.1)
Boston. "Pop music is supposed to be fun and, as far as I'm concerned …
mission accomplished."
"I cannot hear ['Shake'] enough. I've had it on repeat since
yesterday afternoon," says Erik Bradley, PD of CBS Radio's Pop Songs
panelist WBBM (B96) Chicago. "I think it's a mega-smash."
"It's fun, uptempo and infectious," echoes MoJoe Roberts, PD of
Cumulus-owned Pop Songs reporter KHOP in Stockton, Calif. "So far,
audience reaction has been solid. The cool thing about Taylor is when
her songs play, you know it's Taylor. Her signature sound has definitely
evolved, but she's still true to who she is.
"What's not to like about it?"
NO TRIP TO THE COUNTRY
Among buzz for the new song and video is its all-out pop polish,
complete with Swift's spoken-word semi-rap breakdown, cheerleader chants
and even (mild, family-friendly) twerking.
Swift has clearly segued to pop music after arriving in 2006 with her
country ballad named after one of the genre's most successful artists
ever, "Tim McGraw." While her last album, Red, yielded the country-exclusive hits "Begin Again" and the title cut, which rose to Nos. 3 and 7 on Country Airplay,
respectively, it spun off three singles solely for pop radio, including
"I Knew You Were Trouble." With Swift having written the song with Max
Martin and Shellback (Christina Aguilera, P!nk, Britney Spears), it
roared to a seven-week reign on Pop Songs.
Swift's three prior Pop Songs entries (in 2011-12) were also pop
radio-exclusive: "The Story of Us" (No. 21), "Eyes Open" (No. 20) and
"Both of Us" (No. 24), on which she assists rapper B.o.B.
Continuing her evolution, and, unsurprisingly, given her new song's
sound, of the track's 1,139 first-day plays, a mere 12 belonged to
country stations. Still, Cumulus' country WNSH (Nash FM 94.7) New York
sampled the song with a pair of opening-day plays. (Swift has notched 18
Country Airplay top 10s, including seven No. 1s. She led as recently as
June 2013, with McGraw, on "Highway Don't Care.")
Despite its push to pop formats, "Shake" dents the building Country Airplay chart at No. 49.
"We took to social media to see what listeners think," explains WNSH
PD Brian Thomas. "As you might expect, on Twitter they're young and want
us to play ['Shake']. On Facebook, where fans are a little older, they
don't think that this is a country record."
Thomas also notes that Facebook fans don't want a song not quite
right for country taking potential airplay from more deserving titles,
such as "Neon Light," the lead single from Blake Shelton's
new album; that song should make a high debut on next week's Country
Airplay chart. "The ['Shake'] video may also move more people to
consider it a pure-pop song," Thomas adds.
Still, Thomas recognizes the unstoppable force that Swift has become and recognizes a hit when he hears one.
"It will sell and, most importantly, her fans love it."

Truth: No One Wants to Smell Like Justin Bieber
odor of juiced-up puppy-eyes Justin Bieber. Or rather, people don’t
want to buy Justin Bieber’s bottled notions of female desirability —

understand that things don't always work out).
history due to a steeper-than-anticipated fall in sales of celebrity
perfumes, particularly the Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift brands.
The
company said quarterly sales had plunged 28.4%, the steepest fall in a
decade, and warned that weak sales would continue for the next six
months, sending its shares plunging more than 20% in premarket trading.
Elizabeth
Arden, which also sells cosmetics and other celebrity perfume brands
such as Elizabeth Taylor and Britney Spears, said shipments had fallen
in the fourth quarter to 30 June as retailers bought fewer perfumes.
The
company, which launched a restructuring programme in June to revive
sales, also said on Tuesday that Rhone Capital LLC had agreed to buy
$50m in redeemable preferred stock as well as warrants to buy 2.5m
shares, representing about 7.6% of the outstanding stock.
Elizabeth
Arden, also known for its skincare brands such as Ceramide and Prevage,
said in June it would exit low-return brands. The move pushed away a
potential buyer, South Korea's LG Household & Health Care.
Elizabeth Arden's net sales fell to $191.7m in the fourth quarter from $267.6m a year earlier.
The
net loss attributable to Elizabeth Arden widened to $155.9m. Up to
Monday's close of $19.61, the company's stock had lost more than 44%

Arden just had a record-breaking quarterly loss — and the company
points to the perfumes of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift as laggers.

Taylor Swift & Lorde Are Cooking Class Buddies
Remember way back in February when we learned that pop stars Taylor Swift and Lorde became BFFs when they were spotted strolling the beach together here in SoCal? Well, it turns out that Taylor and Lorde‘s
BFFship is still going very strong because the pair went on a BFF date
this week where they took a cooking class together. Isn’t that so
adorable you could just puke on your shoes? Of course it is. Taylor shared a photo from the BFFs cooking class together, which you know you want to see below.
ThankI mean … that these two are the best off BFFs is just too much. I
you to Chef Jeanie at Ella’s Fine Food and Drink for giving us the best
and only cooking lesson we’ve ever had! @lordemusic
promise I’m not trying to make it a competition or anything but I
TOTALLY love Taylor‘s BFFship with Lorde more than I love her BFFship with Selena Gomez. While this may have been Taylor and Lorde‘s
first cooking class ever, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone came up
with the brilliant idea to give these two pop stars their own COOKING
SHOW. Waitaminute, I think I just came up with that brilliant idea. Taylor, Lorde, call me!

Tina Fey To Paparazzo Asking About Taylor Swift: 'Go F**k Yourself'
A pushy paparazzo caught Tina Fey on the streets of NYC yesterday and got way more than he bargained for after asking about her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift!
When the photographer persisted in quizzing her on Swifty, Liz Lemon got very bitter!
The 30 Rock star replied:
"Go f**k yourself."
Whoa!!
Tina smiled while she dished out the verbal bitch-slap, but we were surprised the less-than-ladylike words escaped our gracious gal's mouth in the first place!
Shortly thereafter, Tina came to her sense and apologized profusely told the cameraman to "go f**k" himself again!!
Hmmm, someone's been spending too much time with Jack Donaghy!

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler React to Taylor Swift’s Hurt Feelings Over Golden Globes Joke
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler host the Golden Globes (Getty Images)Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are still awesome, just in case you were wondering.
The two comedians have responded to Taylor Swift’s quotes in Vanity Fair, in which the country singer discussed being the butt of a few of their jokes at this year’s Golden Globes.
Taylor Swift (Getty Images)“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women,’” Swift said referring to Poehler and her Globes co-host, Tina Fey.
"Entertainment Tonight" caught up with the "30 Rock" star at the New York City premiere of her new movie "Admission" on Tuesday night, where she expressed her confusion regarding Swift's hurt feelings.
"If anyone was going to get mad I thought it would be James Cameron," said Fey, in reference to the jab that it must have been "torture" for "Zero Dark Thirty" director Kathryn Bigelow to have been married to Cameron for three years. As for Swift's response, "I did not see that one coming," Fey added. "It was a joke, it was meant to be lighthearted."
Poehler felt a little worse about upsetting the 23-year-old singer. "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset,” the "Parks and Recreations" star told The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday. “I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff. "
In case you forgot the jokes in question, Fey quipped at the Globes that Swift should “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son,” and that the singer could use “some 'me time' to learn about herself." Poehler agreed, telling Swift to "go for it."

Taylor Swift - Hell Awaits Tina Fey And Amy Poehler
Taylor Swift Thinks There's A Special Place In Hell For Tina Fey And Amy Poehler
Vanity Fair has already made my day by making Taylor Swift look like a confused bird in a wig on the cover of a Christian rock album circa 1995. The way that pictures goes with the words "My Syrian Hostage Ordeal" is way too perfect. It's a mess. The cover is good enough, but then Vanity Fair really took me up, up and away with what they put inside. It's Taylor Swift at her Taylor Swiftiest!
If you can only read one part of this interview, read this part:
As she sits drinking lavender lemonade in her “Tim Burton–Alice in Wonderland–pirate ship–Peter Pan” apartment, Swift continues....
That pretty much sums up Taylor Swift's entire life. (Throw in a bunch of boys in pajamas and it pretty much sums up Michael Jackson's life too. Hmmmm.)
In Vanity Fair's preview, Taylor gets into Tina Fey's joke at the Golden Globes and really gets into how she's portrayed as some dick-hungry crazy bitch who only writes musical slam pieces about her ex-boyfriends. Here's a few quotes and please read them while sipping lavender lemonade in your Tim Burton-Alice in Wonderland-pirate ship-Peter Pan cubicle:
On what she thinks about Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's mild ass joke about her at the Golden Globes: “You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people. Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.’”
On how Conor Kennedy and Harry Styles are the only dudes she's dated since 2010: "....if you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people."
On how the tabloids have turned her into boy-trap hussy harlot: “The fact that there are slide shows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with. . . it’s just kind of ridiculous. It’s why I have to avoid the tabloid part of our culture, because they turn you into a fictional character.”
On how you should celebrate her as the next Joni Mitchell and if you don't you're sexist piece of trash: “For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that’s taking something that potentially should be celebrated—a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way—that’s taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist.”
On how she shouldn't star in HGTV's new series House Hunters: Stalkers Edition, because she doesn't buy houses near all the dudes she's dated (FYI: Nancy Jo Sales later writes that Taylor did buy a house near Conor Kennedy.): “People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like—that’s a thing that I apparently do. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real-estate market just to freak you out so you leave me. One of these things I say to myself to calm myself down when I feel like it’s all too much . . . If there’s a pregnancy rumor, people will find out it’s not true when you wind up not being pregnant, like nine months from now, and if there’s a house rumor, they’ll find out it’s not true when you are actively not ever spotted at that house.”
Some humanized puddles of unflavored oatmeal just can't take a joke. Taylor Swift needs to walk the plank of her pirate ship apartment, because Tina Fey was helping her out. Tina Fey jokingly told her that she's been to the Island of Dudes several times, but she really needs to spend time at the Island of Her (which looks like the island of Neverland and is surrounded by a lavender lemonade ocean). That is good advice! But I shouldn't question the thinking of a true feminist who called Camilla Belle a slut in a song. Taylor Swift obviously is the authority on women helping women.
Taylor wouldn't talk about the details of her personal life to VF's Nancy Jo Sales, because why do it when you can have your friends do it for you? Taylor let one of her friends talk to Nancy Jo Sales about Harry Styles and the other dudes she's shared a lavender lemonade with:
Although one of Swift’s rules is that she doesn’t go into the personal details of any of her relationships, she authorized someone to discuss them with Sales. “He wore her down,” the source says of Styles, who allegedly “chased” Swift for a year. “He was all, like, ‘You’re amazing—I want to be with you. I want to do this.’” The relationship fell apart after he texted Swift to alert her of a picture on the Internet of him kissing a friend good-bye. They were “making out like with their hands all up in each other’s hair,” says the source. After Swift ended the relationship, he pursued her for the better part of a year until she finally took him back. “But the whole time she says she feels like he’s looking at every girl,” the source continues. And then when they were in London together he “disappears one night and after that it was like he just didn’t want to keep going.” Styles’s rep, Benny Tarantini at Columbia Records, said that all of Swift’s source’s claims are “undeniably false.”
“It was like a pendulum for her, swinging back and forth,” the source says of Swift’s exes, with all of whom age has been a problem. Conor Kennedy, 17 at the time, was “just like a two-month thing,” the source continues, and Swift “says he was awesome.” The source says, “She dated Jake [Gyllenhaal] and John [Mayer] when she was really young and they were in their 30s, and she got really hurt. So it was like ‘That hurt—this won’t. But then it did.’”
So to recap: Taylor Swift is sick of the media portraying her as the exact image her publicity team painted, she thinks women need to help her (with what, I'm not sure) and she won't whisper into your ear about her ex-boyfriends, but she'll let somebody else do it for her. Bitch is like the rich girl villain in a Sweet Valley High book.
And my guess that this "special place" in hell that Taylor is talking about is a Tim Burton-Alice in Wonderland-pirate ship-Peter Pan apartment where they only serve lavender lemonade and play Taylor Swift songs on a loop.

Taylor Swift in Rodarte for NYFW: too doily, too precious, too much?
These are some newish photos of Taylor Swift walking to the Rodarte runway show yesterday, during NYFW. Swifty‘s dress is Rodarte, obviously. Now… some have claimed that I am prepared to go to war against lace and crochet. They might be right. It’s not that I just flat-out hate lace and crochet, always and forever. I just think that:
1. Head-to-toe lace is always going to be a bad idea. Always. No exceptions.
2. Head-to-toe crochet is always going to be a bad idea. Always. No exceptions.
3. Beware of too much white/cream lace/crochet, because The Doily Effect occurs.
4. Lace is very “precious” and “girly” and a little bit goes a long way on adult women.
5. Crochet is very “grandmother” and a little bit goes a long way on women younger than, say, 70 years old.
6. Beware of The Lingerie Effect - lace details can often look like your panties are showing.
7. Lace and crochet rarely photograph well, so while it might look lovely and pretty in person, the effect will probably be lost on camera.
So, with all of my lace rules/suggestions in place, what do you think of Taylor Swift’s ensemble? Doily Effect. Too precious. Too old. Too much, all over. Plus, the odd “antiqued” look to the crochet is throwing me off. This goes beyond The Doily Effecct and it looks like Swifty just draped her grandmother’s giant, ratty, old, hand-knitted crochet blanket on herself.

Joe Jonas outed as gay after Taylor Swift and Harry Styles break up
So it looks like Joe Jonas may be gay. His photographer inadvertently outed him in a rant on Tumblr about Taylor Swift breaking up with Harry Styles.
Rob Hoffman wrote:
HoW many break-ups is it going to take for you girls to realize that Taylor Swift isn’t a good role model unless your dream in life is to die alone?
The only redeeming quality of any boy band these days is betting on wHich one is going tO date Taylor Swift, and as a result, come out of the closet 2 months later.
The only boy band members that Taylor has dated are: Harry Styles and Joe Jonas. Harry hasn’t come out, so…
Also, the reason for HaRry Styles dumping Taylor Swift is bEcause she didn’t want to have sex with him — and just wanted to talk about antiques, according to RADAR.
So Taylor is a prude — and now she has an image crisis with everyone thinking she’s a whore for having very public relationships that last only a couple of months. The irony.
Lessons of the day:
Joe Jonas is gay
Taylor Swift is a whore
Harry Styles loves sexAccurate, yes?

How could you say Taylor is a whore when you just stated that she wouldn't have sex with Harr? I thought you said she was a prude? Get your facts together. I think Taylor needs to step away from dating for awhile. As for Joe he is the cutest Jonas brother. He is also in the church so if he is gay he will probably stay in the closet for a long time.
