American Idol XIII had a 2.2 adult rating and 9.71 million viewers on Thursday. This is an all-time low.
The Big Bang Theory had a 5.2 rating and 17.91 million viewers, the #1 and most watched show of the night.
The Vampire Diaries had a 1.0 rating and 2.185 million viewers.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland had a 0.8 rating and and 3.1 million viewers.
The Millers had a 3.0 rating and 11.78 million viewers.
Grey’s Anatomy had a 2.6 rating and 8.17 million viewers.
Reign had a 0.7 rating and 1.765 million viewers.
Two and a Half Men had a 2.7 rating and 10.45 million viewers.
The Crazy Ones had a 1.7 rating and 7.06 million viewers.
Scandal had a 2.8 rating and 8.43 million viewers.
Elementary had a 1.7 rating and 8.47 million viewers.
Thursday. It moves to 9 PM next week and then into a half hour results
show a week later.
I think this could be the end. The show just might be canceled at the
end of the season. Or FOX just might move it or do something else. But
this is definitely it. American Idol will have a rating below 2.0 at
some point and there is no turning back from that. The 9+ million
watching are mostly in the older demo and advertisers are not too
thrilled with that. Idol now has The X Factor ratings! Congrats Simon
Cowell!
