Gwyneth once famously urged a friend to keep her man happy by giving him plenty of oral sex — but did the actress follow her own advice when it came to her husband of 10 years, Chris Martin? Could a lack of oral sex be the real reason why Gwyneth and the Coldplay frontman decided to split?
In a candid 2013 interview with Chelsea Handler, it was revealed that Gwyneth Paltrow once advised a girlfriend to let go of the anger she felt towards her husband and just “give him a b*** j**!” Did the Academy Award winner forget to adhere to her relationship advice in her failed marriage to Coldplay frontmanChris Martin?
Chris Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow Love Life: Did They Split From Lack Of Oral Sex?
During Gwyneth’s May, 2013 appearance on E!’s Chelsea Lately, the talk show host told the audience, “We were at a dinner party one night and this girl was asking for advice and Gwyneth is an amazing advice giver.”
Chelsea went on to say, “The woman was saying, ‘I got into a big fight with my husband and I got home and I wanted to scream and yell.’ And Gwyneth was like, ‘Whatever you’re doing, just do the opposite. Just go at him with love and you give him a b*** j**.’”
Gwyneth was clearly embarrassed as she squirmed in her chair, giggled and turned red, saying to Chelsea, “What if my mom is watching this show?”
It sounds like Gwyneth had everything figured out back then, but did she stop following her own advice when it came to her love life with Chris? It may sound silly, but sexual intimacy is very important in a relationship, and losing that closeness could have eventually led to the demise of the couple’s marriage.
Gwyneth Explains ‘Conscious Uncoupling’
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Gwyneth posted an article on her website, goop, explaining what she meant by the term “conscious uncoupling,” which is the phrase she used when announcing her separation from Chris on March 25.
A portion of the 2000 word essay written by husband and wife team Dr. Habib Sadeghi and Dr. Sherry Sam reads:
“The idea of being married to one person for life is too much pressure for anyone,” they continue. “We’re living three lifetimes compared to early humans, perhaps we need to redefine the construct. Social research suggests that because we’re living so long, most people will have two or three significant long-term relationships in their lifetime.”
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Did Gwyneth’s marriage with Chris end because of a lack of oral sex? Let us know!
