They should leave her out of this because, as we said, there are already more than enough people involved in this mess .
"Vhong Navarro’s supporters didn’t like what GMA News & Public Affairs Vice President Jessica Soho said in her news program — State of the Nation, on Tuesday night, Jan 28 — about the CCTV footage from Deniece Cornejo’s condominium which is used by Navarro’s camp as piece of evidence for the complaint he filed," reports Eunice Blanco on Philstar.com.
Navarro filed charges for serious physical injuries, grave threats, grave coercion, unlawful arrest, and threatening to prevent publication in exchange for compensation against Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee. Cornejo is accusing Navarro of attempting to rape her.
Soho had remarked that the CCTV footage seemed to confirm the accounts of both camps. “Pero parang doon sa flow of events, [sa] version ng magkabilang kampo, walang makaiba, e, consistent sila. Pareho sila ng sinasabi. So I don’t know if (this) video (taken from the lobby of the condominium will amount to anything much,” she said.
Navarro's supporters, like @shene_marcos , tweeted: "So funny u are Jessica Soho why u still asking if important the CCTV wat do u think in CCTV decoration?use ur brain jessica Soho." Then there was Dawn Villahermosa who tweeted, "@KM_Jessica_Soho ohghaaaad pls do your job properly be a reporter not a critic @gmanews @GMANewsOnline."
Fortunately, there were some levelheaded netizens like User @FairlyAbnormal , who pointed out: "Hindi ko gets kung bakit binabash si Jessica Soho. I think na-misinterpret niyo lang yung news dahil English yung ilang part. hahaha."
Kidding aside, @FairlyAbnormal was referring to Soho's reaction when, later in the segment, reporter John Consulta showed her a photo of two guys holding a guy wearing a cap (believed to be Navarro) with his hands tied at the back. Soho had noted, "Tugma yan sa testimony ni Vhong Navarro."
So, maybe some of Navarro's fans are just being too rabid.
