Is this her final answer? Meredith Vieira announced Thursday, Jan. 10, that she will be leaving her hosting duties on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire after 11 years with the show.
The former Today show co-anchor is reportedly looking to work on a new project at NBC and has grown "tired" of her role on the game show, the New York Daily News reports.
Vieira declined to comment.
The veteran anchor, 59, will continue to host the show through May, and the network will air reruns during the summer as they search for a replacement.
Vieira helped to cover the 2012 London Olympics last summer, and is currently looking to launch her own YouTube channel featuring stories on people's lives, according to the Huffington Post.
Prior to Vieira, Regis Philbin played host to the primetime version of the show until he left in 2002.
