Rihanna may have added several more dates as part of her U.K. tour but the 'S&M' singer is failing to entice ticket sales in the U.S. and may have to ditch some of the concerts.
The 'What's My Name?' singer has been asked to consider cancelling some of her concert dates for her 'Loud' tour like she had to with her 'Last Girl On Earth' tour last year after it failed to shift tickets.
RiRi's management team are now considering which concerts to drop after "disappointing" pre-sale tickets last month.
A source told the New York Post: "It has been a big disappointment. The ticket sales in big U.S. cities like Boston are so bad, they will barely cover basics like the lighting and other arena costs. Tour managers are begging local radio stations to do giveaways."
It has been claimed that just 3,700 tickets for Rihanna's
show at the T.D. Garden arena in Boston have been sold and she needs to shift at least 15,000 to break even.
Is Rihanna too "pop" for America?
