James Franco: I'm Gay "Up Until The Point Of Intercourse"

James Franco, who’s about to play again in the upcoming biopic I am Michael, just did an interview for Dot429 in which his “straight” side interviewed his “gay” side.

Franco unleashed a series of quoteworthy assertions during the
surreal exchange, and finally answered the question on everyone’s mind:
Dude, are you gay or what?

“Well, I like to think that I’m gay in my art and straight in my
life,” he said in the exchange. “Although, I’m also gay in my life up to
the point of intercourse, and then you could say I’m straight.”

Is that going to be a new thing now? “Mom, Dad, I’m gay… in my art.”


Franco elaborated on this with a little history lesson:

I guess it depends on how you define gay. If it means whom you have sex with, I guess I’m straight.


In the Twenties and Thirties, they used to define homosexuality by how you acted and not by whom you slept with.

Still not clear, James.

Sailors would fuck guys all the time, but as long as they behaved in masculine ways, they weren’t considered gay.

The real answer? James can’t fuck himself—and he wants to. Really, really badly.
