Peyton Reed Has Edgar Wright's Storyboards For Ant-Man

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has revealed, in an interview with Slash Film that, prior to leaving the project, director Edgar Wright had storyboarded at least a portion of the upcoming Ant-Man film.

Feige says that new director Peyton Reed now has those storyboards in
his possession and that at least some portion of them will likely be
brought to life in the finished film.

Yeah. It wasn’t the whole movie and there are new elements in the
movie obviously, now, that [Wright] was not involved in. But there are
some segments that are awesome and will be brought to life in some
incarnation. Peyton [Reed] certainly has all that material and is a
talented enough and a secure enough guy to notice if something is really
cool and go “No reason to change that, that’s great.” Or if he’s got
his own spin on something to go and adapt it from there.
So it seems that at least some of Wright’s influence will make its way into Ant-Man. Whether or not it will be recognizable when produced by another director will be interesting to judge.

Ant-Man comes to theaters July 17, 2015.
