The DJ and singer apparently begged her superstar sibling to “speak up on her behalf” after the video of her infamous lift attack on Jay-Z leaked online.
“Solange is upset and feels betrayed that Beyonce didn’t come to her
defense when footage of the elevator fight went viral,” a source told
Hollywood Life.
“She wanted Beyonce to speak up on her behalf and say something like, ‘Don’t assume anything’.
“Beyonce refused to talk about the incident and Solange’s way of
letting B know that she’s ticked off is by deleting photos on her
Instagram. She
Solange was said to be upset with Jay Z on the night of the Met Ball for a couple of reason.
“Solange doesn’t like the way Jay Z controls Beyonce. Beyonce would
never speak up to him or defend herself, so Solange does it. Solange is
not afraid of him and is fed up with him calling all the shots in
Beyonce’s life,” a source said.
Solange was also furious with Jay Z about his “too close” relationship with designer Rachel Roy.
“Solange was defending Beyoncé in the elevator because Solange finds
Jay’s friendship with Rachel to be WAY too close for comfort and it
makes Solange very uncomfortable,” the source revealed.
