Lea Michele Writes About Cory Monteith's "Beautiful Smile" on His Birthday
took to Twitter to share sweet words and a happy memory. "The biggest
heart and most beautiful smile.. In all of our hearts.. We love you so.
Happy Birthday," she tweeted. The accompanying photo shows Cory smiling
and looking down as Lea laughs and covers her mouth with her hand. On
Friday, Cory's mom, Ann McGregor, reflected on the day she gave birth to
her son. "Maybe it is a blessing that Cory's birthday is on Mother's Day," she tweeted.
It's been nearly 10 months since Cory's sudden death. At her Louder album listening party in March, Lea discussed channeling her emotions
into her new music. "A lot of people don't know how to touch this
situation. It's like walking on eggshells. So, I felt 'Cannonball' was
the perfect first single, because it kinda puts it all out there. It's
like, this is really hard. We're not denying that it's hard. We're going
to get through it."
