Announcing the 2014 Oscar Nominations!
Let the Oscar speculation begin! Chris Hemsworth was on hand to help announce the 2014 Academy Award nominees early this morning. Tons of the usual suspects earned nominations, including American Hustle's whole entourage of Amy Adams , Bradley Cooper , Jennifer Lawrence, and Christian Bale — plus nods for best director (David O. Russell) and best picture. The Wolf of Wall Street is also a top contender, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in addition to best picture and Martin Scorsese for best director. Surprisingly shut out? Tom Hanks for his performance in Captain Phillips, though the film did earn a best picture nod as well as a nomination for Barkhad Abdi's supporting performance. Take a look to see who scored the biggest honor of the season.BEST PICTURE
