1. Laugh More
Don’t be a sour puss – laugh and smile more often. Laughter is actually good for you ! Do whatever it takes to put a smile on your face… and I do mean even a happy ending. Which brings me to the next tip….
2. Have More Sex
In addition to the wonderful physical feelings of doing the deed, sex is also good for your health – it helps lower stress and blood pressure, boosts immunity, promotes better sleep… I could just go on and on and on!
3. Make More Lists
Mini-goals for the day or week can make you feel accomplished and give you the confidence to move forward with other, bigger plans. I prefer a pen and paper when it comes to making lists – the sensation of crossing those items off the list is very satisfying.
4. Focus Your Efforts More
You can’t do it all – it’s humanly impossible, otherwise we’d all be superheroes. We tend to take on too much, do too much and have a hard time just saying “no”. Take the time to really think about what you really want to achieve and cross off things that won’t ultimately help you achieve your goals.
5. Focus on You More
Make this the year that you finish your book, learn a new language or take that dream vacation. No more excuses – just do it! But at the same time…
6. Slow Down More
While making your goals, it’s also important to slow down and enjoy the little moments in your life. Take the time to slow down and enjoy moments. Focus on the important things
7. Save More Money
Put money aside for the future. Rule of thumb: 10% of your income should be saved toward retirement.
8. Meditate Often
Meditation is so good for the mind, body and soul. Even just 10 minutes of day of quiet can do wonders by relieving stress and helping to restore your inner peace and calm.
9. End Relationships that Don’t Work
You know those friendships that drain your energy? They are toxic. Don’t try to keep a friendship alive if it becomes too stressful – after all, it’s supposed to be effortless.
10. Socialize More
I’m not talking about Tweeting with friends or chatting on Facebook. I’m talking face to face socializing – make the effort to get together with friends or have a date night with your partner once a month. Spend real life time with people who bring you joy and laughter. Let loose and have some fun!
